PILOTING SPRING 2022

Developed by The City University of New York’s Building Performance Lab

With the support of The U.S. Department of Energy’s Office of Energy Efficiency and Renewable Energy

We’re excited to announce that CUNY BPL is developing BuildingCoach, a new online training program that brings together on-demand operations a maintenance modules with small group coaching sessions for advanced operators and managers in facilities with building automation systems.

What makes the program unique is the coaching element, based on BPL’s 5+ years of experience coaching building operators in NYC and DC. Participants share near-real-time data from their buildings with their coaches and together, they analyze trend charts for savings opportunities, make a plan to address them, and review results.

In the space of weeks, participants start to see real changes in their facilities, and they master the skills and tools they need to continue to optimize their building systems past the program’s completion.
