This week has been declared “Fix a Leak Week”by the United State’s EPA in partnership with Water Sense.

A water leak from a faucet, water heater, toilet, etc… can be very costly in additional water usage and can cause extensive structural damage if not addressed. Fixing a leak is one of the easiest ways to conserve water and reduce your facility’s water bills.

There are several ways you can participate in this week at work in your commercial building or at home. You can Take the Pledge to fix a leak or find an event near you from the EPA’s list of activities here.

You should also commit to conserving water year round but use this week to address some problematic fixtures if you can!
